Generally, we would recommend washing your wig every two to three wears. This allows you to maintain a clean, fresh wig and prolong the life of your wig without over-washing it, which can lead to a lifeless, dull wig, or even cause damage to the fibers
Not washing your wigs between wears can lead to build-up of bacteria that can damage your natural hair and your wig. If you only wear your wig every so often (for example wigs that you keep for special occasions or events), you should wash them every 3 to 4 wears.
Don’t Wear Your Wig for More Than Six Weeks at a Time
While experts generally agree that you should take a break after six weeks, don’t hesitate to remove it sooner.
